Since 2008, I have been keeping sketchbooks of drawings, thoughts, ideas, observations, and found ephemera. So far I have filled almost five entire bound books with images and text. It has been an incredibly valuable experience and I feel like I have several sourcebooks of raw ideas to use for any project. I have learned so much about myself through making them, and I consider them to be my best work. Pictured are spreads from two different books. The top was a drawing of a man sleeping on the train, while the bottom spread contains two of a series of symmetrical machine creatures that I seemed to find myself frequently drawing for quite some time.
Two more spreads from my sketchbooks, both containing various character designs. I try not to reference any thing or even draw in any particular style. Instead I try to just let raw ideas come flow out of my head onto the paper.
Two more sketchbook spreads, the first being a free association drawing of characters/ideas, and the second spread containing an idea for a hand drawn type that was used in a later project.
1 of 3 posters made to promote the 2012 Adult Swim Carnival Tour, a traveling carnival that stopped at 10 colleges across the US. The carnival consisted of games, prizes, contests, and a live performance by artists such as Dan Deacon, Reggie Watts, and Action Bronson. Different elements from the games were represented in the poster.

While they were working on their Adult Swim show Loiter Squad, I got a chance to meet Odd Future. Tyler the Creator liked my art and asked me to make a painting of him.
Two tshirts painted as a personal project.
This painting is a portrait of legendary cartoonist and long-time Mad Magazine contributor Al Jaffee that I was asked to do by Cartoon Network. They had commisioned a painted fold-in for an advertisement and wanted to mail him a gift as a thank you.
Two handpainted sweatshirts modeled by the-always-beautiful Azede Jean-Pierre. Planning on doing a series of screenprinted sweatshirts and tshirts once I get around to it.
Art from front of the flyer for the Adult Swim Carnival Tour.
This poster was created for Adult Swim to be sold at 2010 San Diego Comic-Con as a limited edition silk screened print. The prints were numbered to 500 and printed beautifully by Ed & the gang at Danger Press. 17 out of the 26 characters are somewhat abstracted Adult Swim characters, and the rest are of my own invention. Remaining posters can be purchased here. Featured in 2011 Print Magazine Regional Design Annual.
